TEENAGE DADS
Meeting at school, bandmates Jordan Finlay (vocals/multi-instrumentalist), Vincent Kinna (drums), Angus Christie (bass) and Connor McLaughlin (guitar) quickly locked on the foundation of Teenage Dads: compact, propellant rhythms, and lyrics that could tug at heartstrings or conjure laughter. They were committed to being a live band first and foremost, and they quickly earned a reputation for ferociously energetic sets, finding them fans across Australia, North America, England and Europe.
Kicking of 2024 with festival slots at Party in the Paddock and the national Laneway Festival tour, as well as an EU/UK headline tour, Teenage Dads are keeping the momentum going with the announce of their largest Australian headline tour to date.
MAY-A
Since her 2021 debut EP Don’t Kiss Ur Friends, Australian singer/songwriter MAY-A has hit some incredible milestones. Collaborations with some of the biggest Australian artists including DMAs, Budjerah and of course on the Hottest 100 topping, ARIA-nominated, ARIA Platinum accredited ‘Say Nothing’ with Flume. She’s also played some of the world’s biggest stages including Coachella and Gov Ball. MAY-A and her band (Chloe Dadd, G, Handsome) spent most of 2022 on the road – playing alongside Flume on his US and Australian tours, opening for 5 Seconds of Summer on their Australian tour and Wallows on their UK and European leg. She also played her first ever UK headline show, which sold out.
MAY-A’s sophomore EP Analysis Paralysis (out September 1) heralds a new era for MAY-A, where she’s exploring and experimenting with new sounds and experiences. It culminates in fan-favourite tracks like ‘Sweat You Out My System’, ‘Your Funeral’ and ‘LOLA’ – garnering global press and radio support from the likes of triple j, NME, Purple Sneakers, Billboard Prelude, Readdork & more.
MANSIONAIR
“This is Happiness, Guaranteed.
A collection of songs written between August 2019 to October 2021.
The first half of the record came out of two primary writing trips a few hours south of Sydney - one in an isolated cabin, the other in a farmhouse just off an abandoned freight line. We wanted to reconnect to each other and our love of music.
For the first time in our band’s life, we ditched computers, set up in the same room, plugged in our instruments and played together for weeks straight.
This album is about wrestling with the idea of happiness. That it is not a destination that we ultimately arrive at. Reframing contentment and learning how to navigate ourselves in a world so geared toward success and arriving.
The second half of the record was an entirely different journey through the collaborative process. We realised that the world of ‘Mansionair’ is bigger than just the three of us and wanted to bring friends/collaborators we met over the years to help add to the tapestry of our band.”
GREAT GABLE
It’s been a steady and relentless rise for Great Gable – Alex Whiteman (vocals), Matt Preen (guitar), Madi Hanley (drums) and Christopher Bye (bass) – who began jamming together after meeting at uni in Perth. They quickly started making waves with their dynamic sound and energetic live show, honed by consistent touring across Australia and New Zealand.
With a blend of early 2000s NYC rock and UK-influenced indie, Great Gable have crafted a sound that is uniquely their own. Their music is characterised by catchy hooks, heartfelt lyrics, and an overall sense of warmth and positivity. The band's ability to create anthemic, feel-good tunes has earned them a loyal and rapidly growing fan base.
Great Gable's latest release, ‘Read The Room’ has not only solidified their position as one of Australia's most exciting emerging bands but has also garnered attention on an international scale. Their breakout single 'So Cool' is a vibrant and catchy song that perfectly encapsulates the band's signature sound. With its irresistible hooks, energetic instrumentation, and infectious chorus, the track immediately draws listeners in and leaves them craving more.
THE BUOYS
The Buoys blasted out of the local DIY scene and in just a few short years unleashed three killer EPs, playing sold-out shows across the country that have earned them a devoted following, and engrained this Sydney based all-woman rock band into Australian music culture. The Buoys themselves are devoted to playing high-octane shows, and as a result have cemented their place as an unmissable live show experience. The Buoys carve out a fresh space in the indie guitar scene, traversing themes of uncertainty to curiosity, disappointment to determination, all through honest lyricism and backed by the weight of meaningful instrumentation, paying homage to the music you know and love, while leaving just enough room to steer their sound into unchartered waters.
KITSCHEN BOY
Amassing over 3 million streams on Spotify, Kitschen Boy has found a home alongside some of Australian indie rock’s finest such as Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Dear Seattle & Stumps.
Hailing from Melbourne birthed from a former career of flipping burgers under a bar the dynamic band brings synth-packed, noisy jangle with a punch. Imagine the nostalgia of the 80s UK indie scene mixed with a bit of 90s shoegaze and then sprinkle it with a tasteful dose of Australian sunshine.
Since the band's beginnings they have received support from many industry tastemakers, landing on editorial playlists across Spotify and Apple Music and earning acclaim from radio across the nation including triple j, double j and PBS FM. Contemplative, self-deprecating and danceable are what makes Kitschen Boy so goddamn spellbinding and with comparisons to heavy-hitters such as Gang of Youths, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and Vacations it's no wonder the alluring taste of the bands tracks stay tingling on listeners lips long after turning off their headphones or leaving the dancefloor.
Heading into 2024, Kitschen Boy are set to announce their latest body of work, alongside many more live shows across the country. So, buckle up and get ready for a sonic journey as Kitschen Boy brings their brand of indie grunge to the forefront; jangly, noisy, and laced with energy. Roll the windows down, and lose yourself in the world of Kitschen Boy.
LUCY SUGERMAN
Canberra's Lucy Sugerman's sixth sense for storytelling coupled with a gift for crafting assured melodic hooks is a recipe for sweet folky alt-pop that can still pack a punch. The 22 year old self-managed artist possesses an impressive work ethic and dedication to staying true to herself, letting people into her world through relatable tales of her struggles and triumphs in romance and growing up. Mixed with a bit of light-hearted but thought-provoking social commentary, Lucy’s quirky and genre-defying music is youthful yet poised, and the charming singer-songwriter is showing no signs of slowing down her evolution.
In the past year, the multi-instrumentalist has triumphantly opened shows across the country for the likes of Gretta Ray, Sly Withers, LANKS, Old Mervs and STUMPS just to name a few - all while balancing her various side quests (including a bit of radio presenting, music academic research and music advocacy). Currently in the studio writing and creating her next chapter of songs with collaborators like Joe Faris (NZ), 2024 is set to be Lucy Sugerman’s biggest year yet: as she takes full creative control and owns the intricate storytelling she does best with a new, darker, folkier musical direction to capture more hearts across the country.

SONIC REDUCER
Canberra punk outfit Sonic Reducer are not losing any momentum. The four 20 year olds, Cormac, Lachie, Felix and Louie, are energetic and hard-hitting, with one of the most entertaining live shows this generation has produced.
Following the release of their debut single ONE OF THE LADS, which was released in October 2023, the band has played with the likes of Cosmic Psychos, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Moaning Lisa, and Johnny Hunter. After only being a band for just over a year, they have already played the Metro Theatre twice and created a cult following for themselves throughout Australia.
BETWEEN THE WIRE, their second single, is a short, fast, punchy song about having a crush on a night out. It’s 2 minutes and 11 seconds long, fun, exciting and unapologetically teenage. In a world of Sticky Fingers merch and corduroy caps, Sonic Reducer are a refreshing dose of vulnerability played at a high volume.
JETT BLYTON
If you love Troye Sivan or Ruel, up-and-comer Jett Blyton very well might be your new favourite artist. Jett makes fun pop music, inspired by the top charts, with an emphasis on great hooks and quick wit.
